I am Izeiru Weli (called Ize by most of my friends). I work as a GP (Family Medicine doctor) in a semi-urban practice in the UK. I love PFC. I believe, like all believers, I have been called to the ministry of reconciliation and enabled by God to fulfil this ministry. I was in that position years ago when I did not understand a lot about God and I struggled in my relationship with Him. Thank God that by His grace and through faithful men, I got to hear the gospel of grace and I was discipled. The Lord has called us to make disciples, not converts! ‘Go therefore and make DISCIPLES of all men...’ After an altar call, people get ‘saved’ and are just left on their own to figure out their Christian walk, confused and unguided. They often get frustrated and unfortunately never get to enjoy their relationship with God as He intended it to be. This should not be. We are to feed the sheep! I desire to continue to work at PFC, helping people grow in their relationship with God. I desire to do more articles, get to respond more to contacts, support financially, be an encourager and also get encouraged. Love & blessings

I am Mishael Titilayo, based in China. I am a Language Educational Analyst. Pens for Christ has been a great blessing to me. I see it as a platform to reach out to new converts and a way to thoroughly help them grow in their new found faith. I'm learning a lot through PFC. Though I can't say I'm a writer but I think this group has taught me some things about writing. Being a Muslim convert myself, I look forward to using this (PFC) platform to reach out to those that seem cast out because of their faith in Christ. When forbidden from using a Bible, writing letters and emails helped my growth back then. I look forward to seeing more young Christians grow in their faith through this method. I hope to be able to join our (virtual) meetings (although time difference is a challenge). I also look forward to being prompt with responding to more contacts effectively. I will also partake in prayers and intercessions for our contacts and also participate in our Bible Studies. I will do my best to be part of this group as God gives me the ability.

The follow up of new converts to help them get established in faith is an essential part of church ministry and indeed the Great Commission. This has certainly been a personal burden of mine. It gave me great pleasure, several years ago, when a group of young people shared with me their desire to help new converts get established in their Christian walk. I am delighted to know that several years after, the ministry of Pens For Christ has continued to impact lives in the body of Jesus Christ. It is my prayer that the team will continue to fulfil her purpose to the glory of God and the advancement of Christ's kingdom.

This ministry partnered with me for about two years as the Chaplain of ECWA Secondary School Ganmo. Their teachings and Bible Studies are very insightful. Pens for Christ (PFC) is a Christian ministry committed to helping new converts and young believers in the faith to grow into maturity in Christ through written communication. The vision of PFC was conceived by Bro. Adewole Babatunde about two decades ago. I still recall vividly the night (during our undergraduate days) when he first shared the burden with me. Thank God, the vision has been nurtured and sustained till today. As a friend of the ministry, I have read some study materials and follow up letters produced by PFC and I can confirm that they are rich resources for anyone who is passionate about growing into maturity in Christ. PFC materials are written in simple and good English for easy comprehension. From inception till now, the ministry has affected many lives and I am aware that some of those affected have become part of the ministry’s workforce. To God be the glory.

I am a friend of Pens for Christ and I love what God is doing through the ministry. Pens for Christ is given to ensuring Christians go from convert to a disciple of Christ and this is being achieved through several means like visiting schools, via their website where there are questions and answers relating to faith and growth in Christ Jesus. PFC is not only a ministry which aims to raise converts, they also ensure the convert grows from being a convert to a disciple of Christ then mature in faith to the point that their lives become meaningful and impactful to their world. PFC exemplifies the act of feeding the sheep, getting them saved and been grounded in Christ just as Christ command Peter before He departed to feed His flock as a sign of Peter's love for Him; PFC is also following this path. PFC ensures contacts understand the concept of righteousness which makes them grow effectively in grace. I love what PFC is doing with the whole of my heart. They make people not to live from the understanding of law but the understanding of Grace, embracing the finished work of Christ and also live by trusting Christ's sacrifice for their lives. A lot of Christians are plagued with rising and falling in their Christian race because they do not have the understanding of the righteousness of Christ and what He has done for them. PFC therefore take them through all the teachings to build a strong Christian that is not only saved but also have knowledge of what God has done for them and they are able to impact their world positively. PFC is a good ministry; I love what God is doing through them. Praise God!

Pens for Christ is a ministry that had blessed not just my life as an individual but has blessed a lot of people. Pens for Christ is a channel through which God reaches out to people who desire to grow in their relationship with Him. They are always willing to work from behind the scene; with prayers, intercession, teaching and making necessary materials available for growth. A whole lot of lives have been transformed through their ministry. Having a sense of purpose and fulfilling their purpose of existence, they are willing to partner with any organization or ministry that gives them a platform to fulfil God's mandate. We have worked together on several occasions and I can confidently say that PFC is commissioned to raise Generals and Soldiers in the Kingdom; PFC has God's backing. From the basics, the elementary to the strong meat, they equip you with all you need for a sweet relationship with God. I recommend PFC to anyone who desires to grow in their relationship with God.

We grew up responding to basically all altar calls. Unlike today, the pastors made it so scary: "anyone who is ashamed of me before men, I will be ashamed of before my Father...." How won't you be scared. Film shows featuring the end times, hell, judgement and so on topped the list of scares. I can't say how many times we went out for altar calls. We knew we wanted to make heaven. The invitations, however, were fear-driven and not love-driven. We battled with being sure we were saved. The church was very vast in the evangelistic work; however, something fundamental was not on the table. There was no follow-up mechanism in place. It was a thing we suffered as babes in Christ. I wasn't surprised when God gave the ministry of building lives in the most holy faith to my immediate younger brother (Adewole) - the idea of follow-up and discipleship. This is someone who has been there before and understands the intricacies (Hebrews 5:1&2). God gave us different approaches in the work of discipleship, which is our core as believers (Matthew 28:19&20) I remember the World Bible School (WBS) of old. It was a correspondence Bible School. Yes, letters.... There was no social media then. In my own words, I see Pen for Christ (PFC) in the light of WBS, engaging discipleship via correspondence. PFC has been doing a very wonderful job over the years. One thing that's worth noting is the ability of the leadership to have kept focus in the midst of flamboyant ministerial opportunities. It is a pleasure to be a part of the ministry by proxy.
