Christmas is a Demonstration of Love
John 3:16 NKJV

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The world we live in today is starved of love. When love is claimed to be demonstrated, it often ends up as a misrepresentation of what love truly is. God has however demonstrated what love is all about. This He did at 🎄 Christmas by giving us His only begotten Son. In other words, God gave Himself for our sakes. The reason why we are bereft of love in our world is because selfishness is so prevalent. God however defines love for us as being self giving:

John 15:13 TPT

For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.

He gave His all, He gave Himself. As you celebrate Christmas this 2024, reflect on His love and demonstrate it by being self giving in words and deeds.
